LifeReady Safety Training was founded on a simple belief: every workplace should have people who know what to do in an emergency. We bring that readiness to organizations across Ohio.
Why we started
LifeReady was built by a safety professionals who recognized a growing need for CPR and safety training in the workplace. With strong feelings that more could be done to prepare employees with skills, confidence, and knowledge to respond calmly when every second matters. By equipping employees with skills and confidence to respond, we can transform workplaces into a safer environment where every person is prepared to make a life-saving difference.
We set out to change that. Every program we deliver is hands-on, instructor-led, and designed around the real situations your team is likely to face. We don't just teach technique — we build the calm, decisive response that actually matters when seconds count.
Today we work with businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, and community groups in Trumbull, Lawrence, Mahoning, and Summit Counties. Our goal is the same in every session: leave your team more prepared than when we arrived.
How we teach
Hands-on from the start
Every session puts participants in the scenario — not just watching a video. Practice on manikins, real equipment, and realistic situations is built into every program.
Instructor-led, not self-paced
A live instructor guides every session, answers questions in the moment, and adjusts the pace to your team. No online modules, no passive learning.
Built for the workplace
We design training around the environments your team actually works in — not a generic classroom scenario. The skills transfer because the context is real.

We teach people to stay composed under pressure. That means clear decision frameworks, not just memorized steps.
Instructor credentials
Our instructors are certified through nationally recognized organizations and bring real-world emergency response experience to every session. We hold current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid instruction, and we stay current with the latest guidelines from the American Heart Association and American Red Cross.
